Everyone knows that brushing your teeth every day makes for healthy oral hygiene. But not everyone may know that flossing is also necessary for healthy gums – brushing is simply not enough. To give you peace of mind that you have chosen the right product for you, we commissioned a clinical study using Panasonic Ultrasonic Oral Irrigators. The study was objectively conducted by SGS proderm in Germany, who work with professional dentists. In the study the efficacy of the daily use of the Ultrasonic Oral Irrigator compared to the daily use of manual flossing was assessed.
The 62 participants with gum inflammation and gum bleeding were split into two groups: one group using the Ultrasonic Oral Irrigator and the other using string floss, daily for four weeks.
We found that the improvement of gingival health and the reduction of marginal bleeding could be seen with both groups after just one week.*¹
However, after 4 weeks of use was significantly better with the Panasonic Ultrasonic Oral Irrigator compared to string floss after four weeks of daily use.*²

Why do I need it?
