Eligibility: Sweepstakes only open to legal residents of the 50 United States (and the District of Columbia) 13 years of age or older as of 4/11/07, except employees, officers and directors of Panasonic Corporation of North America (hereafter, “Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, dealers, distributors, suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and Project Support Team, Inc. (“P/S/T”) and the immediate families of each of the foregoing regardless of where they reside (as well as those domiciled with them, whether or not related).
Note: If you are an eligible minor, your parent or legal guardian must be aware that you are participating in this sweepstakes and approve of your participation.
How To Participate: Between 4/11/07 (12:00:00AM, Eastern Time (“ET”) and 5/4/07 (11:59:59PM, ET), (hereafter referred to as the “Promotion Period”) you will receive one sweepstakes entry when you visit www.panasonic.com/kwn and complete and submit the online entry form. Limit one sweepstakes entry per person/household/e-mail address for the duration of the Promotion Period. Additional entries from any one person/household/e-mail address will be void. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete or inaccurate entries, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, computer hardware or software malfunctions or telephone transmission problems or technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware) or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether, human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant based on submitted email address, entry will be deemed to be from the authorized e-mail account subscriber as determined by Sponsor regardless of the name that appears on the official online entry form. Information provided by entrant may be used by Sponsor in accordance with Sponsor’s on-line privacy policy which may be viewed by going to www.panasonic.com/privacy. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law. Drawing: (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about 5/18/07 by P/S/T, an independent judging agency, in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. (1) Grand Prize: A 42" Diagonal Plasma HDTV*, Panasonic Model TH-42PX600U. Approximate Retail Value: $1,995.95. Model subject to change at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Grand Prize winner is responsible for HDTV installation & all costs related thereto. Federal, state and local taxes and any expenses except as outlined above are the sole responsibility of the winner. No transfer, cash redemption or substitution of prize except that Sponsor may substitute prize with a something of comparable or greater value due to prize unavailability. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding on all matters relating to this sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by email, mail and/or telephone.
Miscellaneous: Grand Prize winner (or parent or legal guardian of eligible minor winner) will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release and return the completed documents in the pre-paid overnight envelope provided within 7 working days of issuance of such documents. If winner does not comply with the foregoing, or if prize notification or prize is returned as nondeliverable, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected from among remaining eligible entries received. If prize is won by an eligible minor, prize may, at Sponsor’s discretion, be awarded in the name of his/her parent of legal guardian. By entering, entrants agree that Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, dealers, distributors, suppliers and advertising and promotion agencies: 1) may use (if the winner) entrant’s name, city and state, photograph and/or likeness and statements attributable to him/her for advertising and/or trade and/or other purposes without further compensation, permission or notification (unless prohibited by law) and 2) that the aforestated parties, P/S/T, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or damage to participant or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to winner or any other person or damage to personal or real property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation in this sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to void any and all entries of entrants who it believes in its sole discretion have attempted to tamper with or impair the sweepstakes or to disqualify any individual or cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, actions by entrants, or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the promotion and, in the event of cancellation, termination or suspension, select at its discretion, winner from eligible non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such action. The use of any device to automate entry process is prohibited and any such entries are void.
