How to use this site

Look down the “Product Group” column to find the description of the product you are researching.
For the product group that you have selected, please confirm that the beginning portion of the model number of your product matches one of the entries under the "Model Prefix" column for that Product Group. In making this match, please ignore any dashes which are in the model number. For example, the Model Prefix PV in the VCR/VTR Product Category would match with both models PV-7401 and PV-S4270, and the Model Prefix KXT in the Telephone Category would match with both models KX-T2355 and KX-TC900D. Please note that all valid model numbers begin with at least one letter.
Check the “Year 2000 Status” column to determine whether your product is either “compliant” or “non-compliant.” By saying "compliant," we mean either that (a) operation of the product does not involve processing of any date data; and hence the product does not present any Year 2000 readiness issues, or (b) date data are processed by the product; and the product will, without human intervention, properly handle the transition in dates from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000 and will treat the year 2000 as a leap year.
