UAE witnessed the 33rd edition of GITEX Technology Week, region’s highly rated ICT event at Dubai Convention Centre, dated from 20th- 24th Oct, 2013. With its copious potential GITEX 2013 embodied over 3500 exhibitors representing 80 percent of top ICT brands from across the globe and a footfall of over 139,000 visitors from 144 countries.
Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa (PMMAF) – the regional headquarters for Panasonic in the region, showcased its comprehensive line-up of industry leading total business solutions at its 15th consecutive year at GITEX Technology Week; under the theme ‘Solutions at the heart of every business’. The five day event marked its beginning with a stand opening ceremony on the first day 20th Oct, 2013 by senior officials from Japan and Masao Motoki, Managing Director, Panasonic Middle East & Africa.
Followed by a press conference, Panasonic unveiled world’s first ultra-high definition 4K 20-inch Toughpad and Solid shine Lamp-Free projector lens to its high-end business solutions. The Toughpad 4K UT-MB5 is a business rugged, portable tablet that offers a new digital viewing experience called 4K four times better than HD (3840 x 2560) resolution, collaboratively working with touchscreens capabilities and unique Panasonic Electronic touch pen for pin point accuracy and annotations. Panasonic’s Lamp Free Projector series are an alternative to the current short-life span conventional lamp systems with a combination of LED and laser diodes with a life-span of 20,000 hours – that’s around five times more than normal bulb-based projectors. The first generation models of Lamp Free Projector series include four models: PT-RW330, PT-RZ370, PT-RW430, and PT-RZ470.
