The new dual voltage EY78A1X57 rotary hammer drill and driver is powerful, light and has a Tough Tool IP rating. It is easy and comfortable to hold and features an excellent cooling and dust proof design for continuous use as well as an SDS-plus bit system. It offers five torque levels, which can be adjusted according to the hardness of the material or the type of material being fastened. In addition it offers high speed concrete drilling using an air type, Cup Piston Method hammer. It also features an LED light for greater visibility and a shoulder strap.
Panasonic Tough Tool IP power tools offer new levels of toughness thanks to dust and water resistance technology recognised under the international protection code standards. The IP standards test is administered by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and is designed to gauge the level of protection each product offers against dust and water when subjected to thorough examination. The rating of IP56 qualifies Panasonic Tough Tool IP products for the minimum impact of water or dust*1.
The Panasonic EY78A1X57 offers dual voltage technology for powerful performance with either a 14.4V or 18V battery. A special dual voltage circuit detects the voltage of the attached battery pack and controls the current and voltage flows to the tool to ensure optimum performance. With a 14.4V battery pack it's easier to use for longer periods with lightweight compactness, and with an 18V battery pack application speed and working capacity are increased.
Panasonic power tools feature dust and water resistant technology, recognised under international protection standards.
Dual voltage technology offers powerful performance with either a 14.4V or 18V battery.
*1 Please note that the rating of IP56 qualifies Panasonic Tough Tool IP products for the minimum impact of water or dust, but not for the assurance of performance in such conditions. See Safety and Operating Instructions for further details for proper operation.
