Overview
The TH-42LF5U is a 1080p Full-HD professional LCD display with a wide viewing angle thanks to its IPS panel. The LF5 Series features 500-cd/m2 brightness and 9-ms response. This makes it possible to display crisp, clear images even in bright places, for excellent signage and video performance.Long-life components enable continuous, stable, 24-hour operation making the display ideal for use in public areas like transportation hubs and large retail centers. These displays are also equipped with an Input Search Function. If the input signal is not detected for some reason, another input with a signal is automatically selected for reliable operation. The display will not remain in a "no-signal" condition, making it well suited for signage use that produces advertising revenue.
The TH-42LF5U also boasts a 18.3mm bezel making a stylish display for digital signage, but also allows the displays to be used in multi-screen video wall solutions.
Finally the LF5 series LCD displays feature an Eco Mode. In Eco Mode, the light sensor detects the ambient light level and controls the brightness of the backlight accordingly. This maintains optimum display brightness. It also helps to save energy by reducing the backlight power consumption.
