CBS News Makes Panasonic 103" Plasma Display Integral Part of The Early Show's News Studio

Viewers of CBS News' The Early Show, the network's morning news and talk show, now have an eye-opening reason to stay tuned in - the stunning high definition video and graphics provided by Panasonic's 103" full high-definition professional plasma display. The TH-103PF9UK, the world's largest plasma display available, has been seamlessly integrated into The Early Show's news studio.

The 103" HD display is spotlighted in the news reader position where the anchor conducts news blocks. The new set addition debuted on January 8. The Early Show is broadcast live from New York City from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Mondays through Fridays.

"Panasonic's 103" plasma is an integral part of The Early Show's set, and its size affords a large canvas for the producers and director to present what used to be called the over-the-shoulder graphic," said Phil Selby, Technical Director for The Early Show.
