Long Distance Transmission - Digital Signage
For delivering content over long distances and to multiple displays, Panasonic offers an optional CAT5e transmitter with a optional source switcher functionality (model KE811CT). The KE811CT CAT5e video transmission system allows a user to send high-video signals to a Panasonic plasma up to 500 feet away. The content can be controlled from a central location and delivered to up to 128 plasmas simultaneously. The optional CAT5e switcher allows the user to change the plasma display's input from presentations to live video and more, reducing the cost over a RGB distribution system and allowing greater flexibility in content management.
Multi-Screen Display
Our plasmas are easily configurable as a content-updatable multi-screen system by combining the optional RGB Active Through terminal board (model
TY-42TM6G) and the plasma's advanced image-enlarging function, which enlarges images up to four times normal size vertically and horizontally while maintaining image quality.
The RGB board permits you to simply connect each display with a single cable to build a multi-display system. Also, our plasmas can be configured in a variety of different combinations (from 1x4 to 2x3, up to a 4x4 construction).
