Because the inside of the projector is still hot right after it is used, the fan has to continue operating to release heat outside. Busy teachers turn off the projector power without waiting for the fan to cool it down. Turning off the projector without waiting for it to cool can damage it.
Turning the power off immediately after use leads to early projector degradation.
PT-D6000 Series and PT-F300 Series feature the Direct Power Off function. This function uses internally stored electricity to operate the cooling fan even if the power switch is turned off immediately after use. Since this function also works in the event of a power failure, it improves reliability by minimizing the possibility of a malfunction resulting from a power outage.
The main power switch for the room can be turned off immediately after using the projector, without adversely affecting the projector.
