High definition cinema comes home with Panasonic's newest LCD projectors, the PT-AX200U and the PT-AE4000U.
The PT-AX200U puts you front and center for Hollywood blockbuster films, sports events or video games with up to a 174" wide (over 14.5 feet) HD image. In addition to providing 2,000-lumen brightness – the brightest in its class* – the PT-AX200U also incorporates Panasonic’s new Light Harmonizer 2 technology, which produces bright, beautiful, easy-to-watch images even in a well-lit room. So you can spend the afternoon watching your favorite football team without having to close the drapes and still enjoy clear, brilliant images in crisp detail.
Developed with gaming in mind, the PT-AX200U features a "Game" mode that improves signal processing for better response, allowing you to play video games with minimal stress. Game mode also reveals gradation in saturated areas to show details that are otherwise lost in darkness.
The new PT-AE4000U maximizes the image quality of the full-HD content in Blu-ray Discs and HD broadcasts for large-screen viewing, and adds a newly engineered Red Rich Lamp and optical system that achieves a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and 1,600 lumens of brightness. A variety of advanced signal-processing technologies, beginning with Detail Clarity Processor 3 and Frame Creation2, push the performance level of the LCD projector to an entirely new level of picture quality and provide viewers with the true beauty of full-HD images. Experience on-screen reality, complete with crisp, detailed images and life-like depth, in the new PT-AE4000U. Its exceptional performance is further boosted by Panasonic's collaboration with leading Hollywood filmmakers to ensure that the projector produces images that mirror the director’s artistic vision and intent through a process called Hollywood Tuning.
The PT-AX200U and PT-AE4000U easily integrate into your home theater system and offer outstanding setup flexibility. They can be placed on a coffee table, suspended from the ceiling or set on a bookshelf across the room from a screen. The awesome power of the large screen and the stunning detail of high definition is now ready for its big debut right in the comfort of your own home.
* For LCD projectors with native resolution of 720p, as of August 31, 2006. |
