AUTO SIGNAL under OPTION 1 menu may be turned ON. If so, this overrides the memory settings3.I have installed a new bulb on my PT-D5500, PT-D5000, PT-D5600 and PT-D7000 Series projector and it does not light. What could be the problem?
If the projector is in DUAL lamp mode, both lamps have to be the same type, either normal-life or long-life bulbs. If one of a different type is installed while projector is in DUAL mode, it will not light. 4.My PT-D7000 Series projector is in protect mode. How do I unlock it?

If the incoming signal is 1280 X 1024 it may not be recognized by the AUTO SETUP circuit. Try setting SXVGA MODE to SXVGA+ under the ADVANCED MENU. 7.My DLP projector will not display correctly, or at all, a resolution that it would display before. What could be the problem?
The sub-memory could have been corrupted. Please review the owner’s manaul to see how to clear the sub-memory. 8.The lens will not zoom or focus on my PT-D3500 and PT-D5000 projectors. What could be the problem?
The electrical contacts between lens and unit may have come loose. Remove lens and reinstall.9.I have installed the ET-LE050 lens on my PT-D3500 and PT-D5000 Series projectors. When I use LENS SHIFT the edges of the image become rounded. What is wrong?
This is normal because the lens is a very short throw and the lens elements are very close together, and when lens shift is used, you are shooting out the edge of the lens. That is why we do not recommend LENS SHIFT with this lens. 10.What is the lens adaptor ring size to attach a filter to the lens on the 1 chip DLP lens?

1500 hours. CHANGE LAMP indication comes on at 1300 hours.13.What is the lamp life for a normal-life bulb in LOW LAMP mode on the PT-D3500, PT-D5500, PT-D5600 and PT-D5000 projectors?
2000 hours. CHANGE LAMP indication comes on at 1800 hours.14.What is the lamp life for a Long-life bulb on the PT-D3500, PT-D5500, PT-D5600 and PT-D5000 projectors?
4000 hours. CHANGE LAMP indication comes on at 3800 HOURS. THIS IS THE ONLY MODE FOR LONG-LIFE BULBS!! 15.What is the lamp life for HIGH mode and LOW mode for the PT-D5700, PT-D5100 and PT-D4000 projectors?
2000 hours for NORMAL mode; 3000 hours for LOW mode. 16.Which lamp package comes with a replacement filter for my PT-D10000 Series projector?
Only the quad pack comes with a replacement filter. 17.What is used for the coolant in the cooling system on the PT-D5000, PT-D7000 and PT-D10000 Series projectors?

Select MENU/NETWORK/STORE and press the DEFAULT key for more than three seconds. The projector will then prompt INITIALIZE YES or NO, and select YES.21.What is the bolt-hole size on the PT-D3500, PT-D4000 and PT-D5000 Series?
