20X Optical Lens – For Capturing Images Near or Far
A 20X F1.6 optical zoom lens covers an extended range of shooting situations — from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto — with 35mm equivalents of 32.1 mm at the wide-angle end, and 642.5 mm at the telephoto. Its built-in, remote-controllable, four-position ND filter (clear, 1/4, 1/16, 1/64) facilitates flexible exposure control in brightly lit shooting situations. -
Powerful IP, Browser, and RS-422 Serial Remote Control Capabilities for Precise Production
The HE120 supports both direct and Web-based IP remote control. Direct IP control is possible using the Panasonic AW-RP50N remote camera controller, as well as appropriately programmed systems from Crestron, AMX and other manufacturers. Up to 100 HE120 cameras can be controlled from the RP50 through an ethernet hub using an IP connection. In addition, its built-in RS-422 serial control of up to five HE120 cameras is available using Panasonic's AW-RP655 or AW-HE50 controllers, and with many 3rd party systems. -
Super Smooth, Wide Ranging Integrated Pan-Tilt Head
The camera's high-speed, quiet pan-tilt mechanism offers a wide range of motion, with a pan of ±175° and a tilt of –30° to 210°. Plus, its newly developed pan-tilt driver combines a high level of responsiveness with static precision. An NC (Noise Criteria) level of 35 is maintained even when shooting in louder environments such as jazz clubs and boardrooms. -
Compact, Elegant Design With Easy Turn-Lock Mounting
With its sleek design and choice of color finishes (white or black), the HE120 discreetly blends into most interior designs. Compared to its predecessor (the popular AW-HE100), the HE120 is 50% smaller and lighter, weighing just 6.6lbs. It also consumes nearly 50% less power — a mere 21 watts at 12V DC. A twist-lock ceiling mount is included for ease of installation, as well as a ¼-20 tripod mounting screw receptacle and a safety lanyard for use with many mounting and grip systems. -
Wide Range of Video Formats, HD/SD-SDI and HDMI Outputs
The HD120 delivers in many international HD and SD video signal formats including: 1080/59.94p (HDMI only), 1080/59.94i, 720/59.94p, 480/59.94p (HDMI only), 480/59.94i, 1080/50p (HDMI only), 1080/50i, 720/50p, 575/50p (HDMI only) and 576/50i. It offers HD/SD-SDI, HDMI and analog outputs. What’s more, up to 100 camera position and exposure presets can be stored in each HE120 camera, making it ideally suited to the needs and demands of larger venues.
Dynamic Range Stretch Automatically Optimizes High Contrast Images
With Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS), the HE120's gamma curve and knee slope are automatically estimated to match the contrast of each pixel in real time. When dark, bright and intermediate areas are all contained within the same scene, this function produces excellent gradation between them, minimizing blocked shadows and blown highlights. The result is that you will achieve images that are desirably enhanced by a visually wider dynamic range.
