 Sprawling
over 14 acres adjacent to the Universal Orlando Resort,
this crowning jewel of the Hard Rock Hotel brand offers
654 ultra-luxurious guestrooms, suites and bungalows,
as well as retail shops, a one of a kind interactive kids
recreation and day care facility ("Camp Little Rock"),
a state of the art fitness facility, nearly 20,000 square
feet of meeting space, and world-class service and amenities
that will impress even the most jaded touring musician.
The new Hard Rock represents the second phase in a trilogy
of Loew’s-owned Universal Orlando hotels for which
Panasonic Systems provided extensive systems installations.
The Company completed work for the Portofino Bay Hotel
in 1999 and the 1000-room Royal Pacific Resort in 2002.
SCOPE
 The
project includes the design, engineering and installation
of jaw-dropping in-room entertainment systems featuring
DVD/CD players, plasma screen displays and surround sound;
a property-wide CCTV surveillance and security system;
an advanced valet system; a cardio theater for the main
fitness center; in-room amenities (irons, alarm clocks,
etc.); and audio/visual systems for lounges, restaurants
and "Camp Little Rock."

CHALLENGE
Provide bleeding-edge entertainment and security systems
facility-wide to entertain and protect some of the world’s
most sophisticated travelers – keeping in mind that
this is where some of rock’s biggest names will stay
when touring in Orlando.
 Panasonic
Systems provides “rock star” treatment for all
Hard Rock guests with in-room entertainment systems featuring
CD and DVD players, surround sound systems and plasma
screens. The company also implements a state of the art
CCTV security system to protect hotel guests and a multi-million
dollar installation of rock memorabilia.
