In this issue of
Toughbook Times, Vicky Obenshain, Director, Wireless Strategy for PCSC, discusses the powerful combination of Panasonic Toughbook computers and the Gobi global mobile internet solution. In addition, Panasonic introduces the new, business-rugged Toughbook W8 and Toughbook T8 and the new Toughbook F8, the world's lightest computer with a 14.1" LCD and DVD drive. Toughbook Times detailed highlights from Panasonic's recent "Leading the Way in Wireless Government" event, held in Washington, D.C. More than 150 leaders from military, civilian and public safety organizations spent the day discussing the role mobile and wireless technologies can play in military and government operations. Panasonic also announced the release of the semi-rugged laptop, the Toughbook 52, as well as other product enhancements.
