DVD Requests

All-in-One Driver DVDs and Recovery DVDs are available by mail for select Toughbook products. Windows XP back up service is only available to customers who purchased Panasonic computers with XP downgrade rights. All-in-One DVDs provide all the available drivers, registry patches, Microsoft updates, and applications for specific models. Windows XP Backup Image and Windows 7 Recovery DVDs restore a PC to its original factory image. The standard Panasonic factory image includes the Windows operating system and all drivers/applications originally installed by Panasonic.

Most 2011 models of Panasonic Toughbook® computers now have a Recovery partition on the hard drive instead of a Recovery DVD included in the laptop box. The only exceptions are the Toughbook F9, H2 and U1 Ultra which will continue to ship with a Windows® 7 Recovery DVD. Besides restoring the computer to its original factory image, the Recovery Partition can also be used to load 64-bit Windows 7 Professional (32-bit ships by default from Panasonic).
