Toughbook Makes the Rounds

In this issue, we'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our Toughbook® family, the Toughbook F8, and share the success of the 2008 Healthcare Mobile Technology Symposium. Also, be sure to check out our upcoming healthcare technology events.

As recently demonstrated with the success of the
Toughbook U1, Panasonic produces some of the most innovative products, and we're about to launch yet another. On November 4th, Panasonic Toughbook will be releasing the newest addition to the ultra-mobile-rugged product line specifically designed for the healthcare industry. Leveraging the latest Intel® technology, the Mobile Clinical Assistant device is poised to meet the demands of medical professionals throughout the healthcare industry.

Our new Mobile Clinical Assistant is joining the ultra-mobile rugged category and is ready to make waves on
November 4th, so keep your eyes open.

This past September, Panasonic hosted the 2008 Healthcare Mobile Technology Symposium in San Diego, CA. We saw a record turnout this year, with attendees and sponsors from all facets of the healthcare industry. Attendees learned about and discussed the importance of new healthcare mobile technologies, and shared best technology practices.

The centerpiece of this event was the new Mobile Clinical Assistant device, which will formally be announced on November 4th. Attendees got a sneak peek at the upcoming product and were given the opportunity to use and voice their opinions on this cutting edge device. We are pleased to report that this soon-to-be-announced product was very well received by those in attendance.

The event concluded with an open advisory session between attendees and Panasonic Toughbook President, Rance Poehler. This open dialog allowed attendees to voice their opinions about Toughbook products and their expectations for future solutions. Customers understand the value of these sessions as their feedback is often incorporated into next generation of Toughbook products.

All in all, the event was a rousing success, thanks in large part to all who attended.
