Asset Management gives administrators a flexible, convenient way to monitor and manage Panasonic Toughbook® computer assets. The service is a complete solution for organizations that wish to track asset ownership, asset configurations, asset locations, repairs and software updates. It can also aid in recovery, if a unit is reported missing and is later sent to Panasonic's National Service Center.
As part of the service, Panasonic enters system data by user name, asset number, model number and other categories. Additional assets related to the organization's mobile computer deployment—besides the Toughbook computers—can also be entered into the system for convenient tracking of location and status. Once the data has been entered, administrators can generate reports sorted by criteria.

Some report examples are:
- Asset detail
- Asset summary
- Failure detail reports
Reports include the service history data recorded by Panasonic's National Service Center whenever service is performed. These reports provide organizations with a versatile method of viewing all asset data to analyze service and usage patterns of the entire mobile deployment.

Panasonic's Asset Management service can be purchased at any point in the deployment lifecycle, even if the initial deployment was managed by a company other than Panasonic. Organizations that purchase Panasonic's Asset Management service must provide Panasonic with their equipment and data lists so that they can be entered into Panasonic's database for future tracking.
