Management

Asset Management gives organizations a convenient way to track and report on Toughbook assets through a password-protected website. Administrators can easily monitor asset ownership, asset configurations, repairs and software updates.

Branding Badge

A durable version of an organization's logo can be applied to the outer case of a Toughbook mobile computer to increase brand awareness and reduce the likelihood of theft. When Panasonic manages the deployment, logos can be applied to any Toughbook model as part of the deployment.

Data
Protection

Panasonic's Data Protection Service allows organizations to track, locate and report the activities of any Toughbook computer, including those that are missing, stolen or that have been transferred to a user other than the one registered to the unit. Administrators can remotely remove data from lost, stolen or transferred units without the user's knowledge.

Disk Image
Management

Panasonic can store an organization's gold disk images at the National Service Center for consistent and centralized management. When necessary, Toughbook computers sent in for service are reimaged with the latest version of the organization's disk image.

Loaner Service

Customer-owned Toughbook laptops are stored at Panasonic's National Service Center and lent to users while their original computers are repaired. Once the user receives the original unit back, the loaner is returned to the organization's own pool of loaner laptops stored at Panasonic's National Service Center.

Hot Swap
Management

With Hot Swap Management Service, customer-owned replacement Toughbook computers are stored at Panasonic's National Service Center and shipped to users who have units that need service. The users keep the replacement computers and ship the original ones back to Panasonic's National Service Center.

Service Analysis

Online Service Analysis enables customers to proactively monitor their Toughbook service data using a password-protected website. Administrators can generate reports by department, model, date and failure type, to perform timely and accurate trend analysis.
