How long can warranty coverage be extended?
The Extended Warranty may be purchased for either one or two years beyond the standard 3-year limited warranty. That means the total coverage period can be four or five years depending on the plan selected.
Does the Panasonic Extended Warranty provide all the same benefits as the original standard 3-year limited warranty?
Yes, as with the standard warranty, consumable items are not included. Depending on the specific unit, consumable items include the battery, screen protection sheet and stylus. Shipping to and from Panasonic's National Service Center is included for all units covered by the Extended Warranty.
Where are Toughbook computers and batteries serviced during the extended warranty period?
All service, during both the standard and extended periods, is performed at Panasonic's National Service Center. The only exceptions are if the units are located outside the United States or if they are covered concurrently by the Panasonic On-Site Service program. Units covered by the On-Site Service program are repaired by Panasonic-approved local providers.
