SHEPHERD'S PIE

Using Panasonic INVERTER® Microwave


  
EQUIPMENT:
  •  Measuring Spoons
  •  Measuring Cup
  •  2 Qt. Glass or Microwave safe plastic bowl with cover
  •  Wooden Spoon or High Temp Rubber Spatula
INGREDIENTS:
  •  1 lb. ground beef 500 g
  •  1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed 125 ml
  •  1/4 cup onion, chopped 50 ml
  •  1 tbsp gravy powder 15 ml
  •  1/2 tsp curry powder 2ml
  •  1/4 tsp salt 1 ml
  •  1/4 tsp pepper 1 ml
  •  2 cups mashed potatoes 500 ml
  •  Paprika
PROCEDURE:
  1.  In a 2-quart (2 L) casserole dish, crumble ground beef and cook at P4 4 - 7 minutes, until meat is cooked; stirring twice.
  2.  Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes.
  3.  Stir well and spread potatoes evenly on top.
  4.  Cover with lid.
  5.  Cover and cook at P4 10 -12 minutes or until steaming hot.
  6.  Garnish with paprika.
