TURKEY DIVAN

Using Panasonic INVERTER® Microwave


  
EQUIPMENT:
  •  Measuring Spoons
  •  Measuring Cup
  •  Microwave safe plastic bowl with cover
INGREDIENTS:
  •  1 can condensed Cheddar 1 (10 oz.) cheese soup (284 ml)
  •  1/2 cup milk 125 ml
  •  2 packages 2 (10 oz. ea.) frozen broccoli spears, (300 g ea.) defrosted
  •  2 - 3 500 - cups cut-up cooked turkey or 750 ml chicken*
  •  Salt and pepper to taste
  •  1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs 50 ml
  •  1/2 tsp paprika 2 ml
PROCEDURE:
  1.  In a small glass bowl, combine soup and milk. Cook at P7 2 - 3 minutes; stir until smooth; set aside.
  2.  Arrange broccoli in an 11" x 7" (28 x 18 cm) dish, top with turkey.
  3.  Cook, covered with plastic wrap, at P7 5 - 6 minutes, drain.
  4.  Season with salt and pepper.
  5.  Pour sauce over turkey.
  6.  Cook, covered, at P7 5 - 6 minutes, or until heated through.
  7.  Top with bread crumbs mixed with paprika.
  8.  Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
  9.  * If desired, turkey may be thinly sliced.
