DVD Audio Ready Round-Leaf-Tweeter
Helps to bring out the full potential of DVD audio signals through the state-of-the-art design, engineering, materials and manufacturing processes used in production.
12dB/oct Passive Dividing Network
Instead of a common electrolytic capacitor we chose a film capacitor for the high-pass filter to support the leaf tweeter’s extended frequency response, ensuring clear and accurate stereo reproduction.
Discrete Edge Design
You obtain the performance of a larger speaker without increasing installation space requirements. This is achieved by positioning the surround’s rolled edge inside and below the outer periphery of the cone. This extended cone design widens the effective diaphragm area by 18 percent, resulting in enhanced low-range efficiency. The extended cone also helps block spurious edge radiation which could cause distortion.

Holographic Surface Design
Holographic-like patterns of variegated colors appear on the shimmering blue cone’s surface, depending on your angle of view. Its performance is just as attractive, thanks to the newly developed diaphragm material: high-elasticity polycrystalline PP (polypropylene) with large internal loss, which is formed into a thin, lightweight cone by high-speed injection molding technology.
Symmetric Surround Design
Six alternating edge portions: three rolled up and three rolled down, helps assure equal air displacement for low harmonic distortion near the low range resonant frequency.
Polypropylene Injection Cone
Pearl-mica-coated polypropylene provides a sophisticated appearance that is matched by its refined performance. This diaphragm greatly contributes to clear music reproduction, yet is rugged enough to resist the harsh elements associated with cars.
Angled Tweeter Design
This practical, innovative design helps ensure that the mid-high range tones reach your ears directly, for clear stereo imaging.
Foamed Rubber Edge
A car speaker's edge must seal out air and keep the voice coil aligned; the edge material must have low mass, high compliance, long-term strength, and must be able to withstand temperature extremes. Our foamed rubber edge construction contributes to solid low-range reproduction and enhances reliability.
Ultra-Heat Resistant Voice Coil Bobbin
A newly-introduced heat resistant polyamide film helps the voice coil maintain its structural integrity, even with continuous sound input and the high temperatures which can arise during speaker operation.
Aluminum Diecast Frame
For authentic sound reproduction, a speaker's diaphragm, voice coil and edge must move with the music signal, but the frame must remain immobile. The aluminum diecast frames have outstanding strength and damping characteristics, to minimize the distortion that can occur in pressed sheet metal frames.
High Linearity Suspension
Polyamide fiber ensures lively yet accurate musical reproduction. This high-performance suspension material maintains tight control of all sonic situations.
