What can EZ Sync do?

• When you turn off your TV, the DVD Recorder will also turn off automatically.
• When you operate your DVD Recorder, the TV will automatically turn on and change to HDMI input.
• You can operate your DVD Recorder with the TV's remote control.

What equipment is compatible with EZ Sync?

I have a TV and DVD Recorder with HDMI terminals, will EZ Sync work?
A3.
Only equipment that is EZ Sync compatible will work with EZ Sync.
Q4.
What type of HDMI cable can I use?
A4.
The cable must have the HDMI logo. A Panasonic branded HDMI cable is recommended.
EZ Sync does not work with cables that do not meet the HDMI standard and do not have the HDMI logo.

If I turn off the TV with the TV's remote control while the DVD Recorder is recording, will the DVD Recorder turn off with the TV?
A5.
Even if the TV is turned off, the DVD Recorder unit will not turn off at the same time under the following conditions:
• when the unit is recording
• when scheduled recording is proceeding
• when copying
• when finalizing, etc.
Q6.
When "Sleep timer" and "No signal shut-off" options on are enabled on the TV, will the DVD Recorder turn off in conjunction with TV?

The DVD Recorder will turn off in conjunction with TV.
Q7.
If I connect two DVD Recorders to both HDMI terminals of TV, which DVD Recorder links with EZ Sync?

HDMI 1 input terminal links EZ Sync.
Q8.
Is the EZ Sync supported by other manufacturers?
A8.
Yes if the HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is supported by other manufacturer's products but the EZ sync function will be depend on the products and maybe very limited.
