Official Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Eligibility: The "Get Your Family Ready" Sweepstakes ("Promotion") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia) who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Panasonic Corporation of North America ("Sponsor"), Renegade, LLC ("Renegade"), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, assignees, officers, directors, partners, distributors, retailers, agents involved in this Promotion, advertising and promotion agencies, and Project Support Team, Inc. ("Administrator") (collectively, the "Released Parties"), and each of their immediate family members (including mother, father, brother, sister, child, or spouse, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their households (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win. This Promotion is void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

How to Participate: During the period from 5/2/08 (12:00:00 A.M. Eastern Time ["ET"]) to 8/24/08 (11:59:59 P.M. ET) (the "Promotion Period"), you may enter one of two ways:

By visiting http://www.panasonic.com/olympics and following the directions to fully complete and submit the official online entry form. Or,
By using one of the provided computer kiosks set up at select events. A list of participating events and locations is available at http://www.panasonic.com/olympics.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address throughout the entire Promotion Period, regardless of entry method used. Additional entries received from the same person or e-mail address at any time after the first entry received from that same person or e-mail address will be void. Entries must be received by 11:59:59PM ET on 8/24/08 to be eligible. All entries will become property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. If an entrant uses the same, different, or multiple e-mail addresses to obtain more than one (1) entry, all such entries will be void. For the purpose of this Promotion, a day begins at 12:00:00 A.M. ET and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. ET. As part of the entry process, you may be asked to opt in to receive information from the Sponsor. Opting in is not required for entry and will not affect your chances of winning a prize. Unless you opt in, the registration information collected will be used only for the proper administration of this Promotion (for winner notifications and prize fulfillment purposes). In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant based on an e-mail address submitted on the entry form, entry will be deemed to be from the authorized account subscriber of the e-mail address at issue, as determined by Sponsor in its discretion, regardless of the name that appears on the entry form, and he or she must comply with these rules. "Authorized account subscriber" is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. The use of any devices to automate entry into this Promotion, including, but not limited to, entries submitted using any bot, macro, script, sweepstakes service, or form-filling software (or any other devices intended to automate any part of the entry process), is prohibited. If Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines that any entrant has used any device to automate the entry process or otherwise engages in activity that impairs the integrity of the Promotion process, all entries from that entrant will be void, and future entry attempts by the entrant at issue may be blocked, in Sponsor's sole discretion. Released Parties will not be held responsible for lost, late, stolen, incomplete, garbled, delayed, undelivered, inaccurate, false, or misdirected entries, interrupted or unavailable network server, cable, satellite or Internet Service Provider (ISP), wireless service provider or other connections, miscommunications, or for telephonic, human, or computer software or hardware failures; problems or errors; interruptions in service due to system upgrades, modifications, repairs, or other causes; failures or malfunctions of connections, phones, phone lines, or telephone systems; traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site; technical, electrical, or mechanical malfunctions; or other malfunctions or errors, whether caused by equipment, programming, human error, or otherwise; nondelivery; misdirected, blocked, or delayed e-mail notifications; or for typographical, printing, or other errors appearing in these Official Rules or other Promotion-related materials, or for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Promotion or downloading any materials from the Web site in this Promotion or for any other errors of any kind, whether network, computer, human, or otherwise, relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the processing of entries, the unavailability of a kiosk at any event or the announcement of prizes. Incomplete, unintelligible, delayed, misdirected, garbled, or mutilated entries or entries containing false information of any kind will be void. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site associated with the Promotion or undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion in any way is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, the Released Parties reserve the right to seek damages (including attorneys' fees) and/or other remedies from any such person or persons responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Winner Selection: Within the Promotion Period, there will be total of fifteen (15) separate random drawings to award the various prize levels, as detailed in the following table:

In each drawing, potential winners will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received between 12:00AM ET on 5/2/08 through 11:59:59 P.M. ET on date listed in the Entry Cutoff Date column in the table above. All drawings will be conducted randomly by Project Support Team, Inc., an independent judging agency, from among all eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. All valid and eligible non-winning entries from one drawing will automatically carry forward to be included in each and every subsequent drawing. One Grand Prize drawing will be conducted on or around 8/27/08 which will be inclusive of all eligible entries received during the entire Promotion Period.

Prize/Odds:

One Hundred (100) Third Prizes: A collectible Panasonic Olympic pin set and tee shirt (ARV=$15.00).

Six (6) Second Prizes: A 42" Viera HDTV (TH-42PX80U) and a Panasonic Full HD Blu-ray Disc Theater (BD-100) (ARV=$2,099).

One (1) Grand Prize: A Panasonic 50" Viera HDTV (TH-50PX80U), a Panasonic Full HD Blu-ray Disc Theater (BD-100), and a seven (7) day, six (6) night trip for four (4) people (winner and up to three (3) guests) to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics (tentatively scheduled to take place from February 15 through February 21, 2010), including round-trip coach air transportation for four (4) (winner and his/her guests) from the major U.S. gateway airport nearest the winner's residence (as determined by Sponsor), standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations (four [4] people, two [2] rooms), four (4) passes to attend select Olympic events, ground transportation to/from the airport and applicable hotel, and ground transportation between Olympic events and applicable hotel. Insurance is the sole responsibility of winner. Certain travel, hotel restrictions, and blackout dates may apply. Specifics of Grand Prize package (including details surrounding attendance at Olympic events) are subject to availability and Sponsor's sole discretion. Dates of trip are subject to change. The total ARV of the Grand Prize Package is $27,399.

The total combined ARV of all prizes is $39,493. Odds of winning any prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. Second and Third Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 4-6 weeks following the applicable drawing date. Winners are responsible for all costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of prizes not explicitly set forth herein as being provided by Sponsor, including, without limitation, the cost of any installation, component or accessory of a prize. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion. All prizes will be awarded "as is" without any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on these prizes (if any) shall be subject to the manufacturer's terms, therefore, and the winners agree to look solely to such manufacturer for any such warranty and/or guarantee. Tee shirt prizes may not be exchanged for a different size, color or style. Released Parties will not be responsible for delayed prize shipments due to product availability. All costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of the trip associated with the Grand Prize not specifically stated herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner, including, but not limited to, all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, insurance, gasoline costs, meals, souvenirs, and gratuities. All travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor's agent and on a carrier of Sponsor's choice. The Grand Prize winner and his or her guests will be responsible for obtaining passports and all other travel documents and/or forms of identification necessary to travel internationally (and no compensation shall be given by Released Parties for costs incurred to obtain such documents and/or forms of identification). Actual value of Grand Prize may vary based on location of departure and dates of travel. The winner of the Grand Prize must travel together on the same itinerary as his or her guests and must travel on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. Grand Prize winner and guests must comply with the rules and regulations of the applicable venues. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of such portion of prize. In the event Sponsor is unable to provide passes to any prize venue, no compensation or substitution will be provided in lieu thereof; however, remainder of prize package will be awarded and Sponsor will have no further obligation to such winner. There is a limit of one (1) Second Prize and (1) Third Prize per person and per household (however, any person who has won a Second Prize and/or a Third Prize is still eligible to also win the Grand Prize).

Miscellaneous: There will be no transfer, cash redemption, or substitution of any prize (or portion of any prize) by any winner (unless approved in writing by Sponsor), except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize (or portion of a prize) with a prize of comparable or greater value. Potential winners will be notified by postal mail, phone, and/or e-mail. The potential Grand Prize winner and each Second Prize winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where legal) Publicity Release within seven (7) business days of date of issuance of notification. The guests of the Grand Prize winner must be of legal age of majority in their state of residence (and at least 18 years of age) unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and will be required to execute and return a Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release prior to issuance of travel documents. If a guest is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian must sign the Liability/Publicity Release on his/her behalf. Noncompliance within this time period, the return of prize or prize notification, or noncompliance with these Official Rules will result in forfeiture of prize and, at Sponsor's sole discretion, prize at issue may be awarded to an alternate winner from among all eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. If any winner is at least 18 years of age but still considered a minor in his or her state of residence, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, award the prize in the name of his or her parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein, and minor winner must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian on trip (if applicable). By entering, all entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Promotion, and further agree that 1) the Released Parties and their designees and assigns may use (unless prohibited by law) their name, city and state of residence, photograph, and/or other likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media now or hereafter known, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission, or notification; and 2) the Released Parties shall have no liability and will be held harmless from any liability, loss, injury, or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including personal injury or death to entrant or any other person, or damage to personal or real property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize (including any travel or activity related thereto) or participation in this Promotion. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Promotion or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified, and all associated entries will be void. The Released Parties reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to void suspect entries and/or cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend any portion of this Promotion should viruses, bugs, nonauthorized human intervention, tampering, fraud, or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of this Promotion and, in any such event, at their sole discretion, select winner(s) for the drawing(s) at issue from among all eligible, nonsuspect entries received for the drawing(s) at issue prior to the event requiring such action be taken. Entrants waive all claims against the Released Parties for the suspension, modification, termination, or cancellation of this Promotion.
