At this year's DJ Expo in Atlantic City, the legend continued as Technics slipped into town to spin some magic for a few thousand DJ's. When the needle dropped at the Technics opening night party in the Borgata's Club Mixx, there was no better place to be. Kurtis Blow said hello at the start of the night and got the party warmed up. With his mouth on the mike and his lyrics off the charts, the rhymes kept flowing. And the beat never stopped as the world famous turntablist tag-team, the X-ecutioners, took the stage to work their wizardry on the SL-DZ1200 digital turntables and a half dozen 1200's. The final nightcap was provided courtesy of the original eJK (EJ Enterprises) with his signature live video scratching. For the next three days, the Technics booth was set up at the Convention Center where DJ's could sample the SL-DZ1200 digital decks. Kurtis and the X-ecutioners could be found hanging out in the Technics lounge where they were chilling with fans and fellow DJs.
