Developers and Researchers within Panasonic’s Battery Engineering Group
came together, combining their technological expertise to create the new EVOLTA
battery. Advances that have occurred in electro-chemistry, mechanical structure
and manufacturing quality were achieved, resulting in the production of EVOLTA.
EVOLTA is Recognized by Guinness World Records™ as the "Longest Lasting AA
Alkaline Battery in a wide range of devices" based on ANSI and IEC testing
as of January 15, 2008. This is the first time that Guinness has awarded an
honor in this category.
