Panasonic Donates PDPs and Educational Equipment to the University of Zambia
The Corporate Division for Promoting Systems & Equipment Business and the Corporate Management Division for the CIS, Middle East, and Africa worked in partnership to exhibit products at eLearning Africa, an African educational equipment display held in Zambia over three days from May 26. This is a part of Panasonic's initiatives in the field of education, one of the key industries to the development of its global solutions businesses.
A total of 1,778 people from 78 different countries attended the event, including representatives of the respective Ministries of Education of many African nations, making for an unprecedentedly lively occasion.
With Zambian educational schools suffering from a significant shortage of equipment, Panasonic used this opportunity to donate PDPs and other products to the University of Zambia, the largest university in the country.
