Over the years, Panasonic has created a special place for itself in the Indian market. Recognized and respected as one of the leading technology brands committed to Indian consumers, Panasonic has been offering innovative Smart Solutions for consumers and businesses across India.
India has been playing an important role in Panasonic’s global growth roadmap. As a result of which, the country has now been carved out as a regional hub that will aid Panasonic’s evolution and business development initiatives for the region.
In order to make the most of the economic growth and potential of the Indian market, we have reformed our business structures to promote the designing and production of products and solutions crafted for the Indian consumers. We will collaborate across levels and strategically invest in building our resources to empower them, making them agile for swifter decision-making in all matters relating to product development, collaborations, alliances and other strategic imperatives for India. We will also focus on devising solutions for challenges faced by rural India - clean water, food issues, remote services like tele-education and telemedicine, providing power to off grid population (people who are off the grid or have limited access to the grid). Having set ourselves strongly in the consumer space, we have now renewed our focus on the B2B segment keeping in mind the huge market potential.
While we will continue to offer the best products in the consumer segment, we will now focus on the niche businesses in the enterprise and government segments. We hope that these new segments will play an important role in contributing to the overall growth of the brand in India. Furthermore, in the coming years we will work diligently through our robust initiatives to help our communities enhance their life conditions as well as become more self-sufficient. Over the next few years, Panasonic India aims to grow from being a philanthropic contributor for social development to be an organisation that takes ownership of issues and helps create shared value.
In order to achieve our goals and succeed, we will continue to rely on our three core pillars—Empowerment, Localisation and Rich Communication and strive to build a Better Life, Better World for all.
