SP-Cap is a SMT aluminum electrolytic capacitor that uses a conductive polymer as the electrolyte material. SP-Caps are primarily used as input and output capacitors for Dc to Dc converters due to the excellent ultra low ESR values. The SP-Cap line up offers excellent price/performance for moderate to high CV (Capacitance x Voltage) values, very low ESR/impedance, high ripple current and high frequency performance.
