ZigBee™
ZigBee takes advantage of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard and can transmit/receive data over a very low power network. Intended to work in a noisy environment, small packets of information are robustly passed from node to node until it reaches its destination via a mesh network. Once the information is transmitted, the node goes into a sleep mode, expending almost no power until it needs to wake again. This has the advantage of extending the battery life to two years or even more. Intended to be primarily be used for industrial, building and home automation.

Bluetooth
Ubiquitous for headset technology, Panasonic's Bluetooth ready module is a very fast data transceiver device that can channel hop in order to get its data through quickly and clearly. Panasonic has both Class 1 and Class 2 modules available and can run both 1.2 and 2.0 Bluetooth software.

ISM
Covering the Industrial, Scientific and Medical arenas, Panasonic’s ISM modules offer the benefit of a proprietary network without the typical cost. These low cost, high performance modules will perform at a variety of bandwidth, including 315 MHz to 2.4 GHz. They also take advantage of low power consumption and have a large variety of speeds for data transmission.

Z-Wave
A technology that will change your home forever. Z-wave ready Panasonic Wireless Modules use the same low power, mesh network as ZigBee, but does so by integrating light switches with HVAC controls and other electrically controlled Home Network devices. Utilizing the 900 MHz band, Z-wave sends small packets of information through walls is less difficult than standard 2.4 GHz transmissions.
