Multi-Layer Chip Varistors

Panasonic Electronic Components' MLCVs will protect LED's from ESD damage. White and Blue LED's are most susceptible to ESD damage and adding a low voltage MLCV will allow your LED to withstand ESD of 15 kV. MLCVs are available in a wide variety of values and can accommodate Series LED Combinations while replacing two (2) Zener Diodes and one (1) Capacitor, thus providing space and cost savings.
