Surge Tolerant Chip

Panasonic's serpentine pattern design decreases Electric Field Strength per unit length to better handle pulses or ESD. These resistors have higher pulse handling and ESD resistance capabilities than standard thick film chip resistors.

Chip Fuse

Panasonic Electronic Components' Chip Fuse resistors are on of the industry's smallest with 0402 & 0603 case sizes. They are lead-free, have sharp fusing distribution and withstand inrush current and fast acting, one time blow characteristics.

Current-Sensing Chip

Panasonic Electronic Components offers three main types of Current-Sense Chip Resistors, the Low Resistance ERJ*B/ERJL* series, the Wide Terminal ERJA/B series and the Metal Plate ERJM1 series. These series have a wide variety of specifications for use in current sensing applications. These resistors have low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) and high precision as a result of the alloy resistive element. Available in a wide range of case sizes from 0402 through 2512 they also offer low values, thick film to 10mOhm, metal bar to 1mOhm.
