What is the Panasonic Foundation?
We are a corporate foundation established in 1984 by a $10 million endowment from Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA), a subsidiary of Panasonic Corporation of Osaka, Japan. Panasonic Corporation later strengthened the foundation with an additional endowment of $10 million. The foundation offices are located at PNA headquarters in Secaucus, NJ. The aim of the Foundation is to improve public education in the United States.

The Foundation was created by Panasonic as a gesture of thanks to the United States and as a way of contributing to American society. Today the Panasonic Foundation is
recognized as a leader in education reform.
