The
Panasonic Foundation, in cooperation with American Association
of School Administrators and the University Council for
Educational Administration, publishes an issues series for
school system leaders on district-level change called Strategies.
Each issue focuses on an aspect of whole-system reform in
public education and provides illustrative cases.
To
mark the foundation's 20th anniversary in July 2004, we
published The
Panasonic Foundation and School Reform: 20 Years of Corporate
Commitment. Written by Robert A. Kronley, a long-time
observer of and participant in education philanthropy, the
publication describes how our values and principles have
guided our efforts and shaped our approach, as well as the
impact of those efforts on partner districts and on the
field of education philanthropy.
A
book about the Panasonic Partnership Program is also available
from St. Lucie Press: Learning
by Doing: Panasonic Partnerships and Systemic School Reform
by Terry Clark and Richard Lacey.
