EVOLTA is Panasonic’s No.1 primary battery. It consistently outperforms our competition’s premium products across all the commonly accepted industry tests in almost any appliance you can think of. The EVOLTA concept was born from the words “evolution” and “voltage”, with evolution signifying growth and voltage representing high power.
EVOLTA batteries are next-generation batteries, with unique Panasonic technologies propelling the dry cell capabilities to new heights. EVOLTA delivers increased power and longer life, even after very long periods in storage. Combining class-leading performance with safety and reliability under the harshest conditions, it’s not surprising that EVOLTA is now the most trusted battery brand in the world.
Technologies: Anti-Leak Protection
If alkaline batteries are left too long in an appliance, or if they are over-discharged and forgotten, gas can build up inside the battery and cause it to rupture and leak. Unique gas suppression technology is used in our alkaline batteries to prevent this from happening.
Technologies: Triple Tough Coating
An iron/nickel alloy layer is formed on the negative electrode terminal. Improved adhesion of the nickel plating prevents faulty connections.
Technologies: Extra Power Formula
EVOLTA batteries incorporate new and improved materials to efficiently supply energy to power-hungry devices. The development of high-reactivity materials has enabled consistently high current delivery for longer periods of time. We call it our Extra Power Formula, and it’s your guarantee of high performance.
Tomotaka Takahashi is the ingenious Developer behind the new Panasonic EVOLTA Robot.
Mr. Takahashi created this EVOLTA mascot, which has been nick-named Mr. EVOLTA, to symbolize Panasonic's Alkaline Battery power.
Mr. EVOLTA stands at a mere 6.7 inches; (roughly 17 centimeters) but conveys enormous strength, great determination and a winning spirit.
When Mr. EVOLTA is powered by 2 of Panasonic's EVOLTA AA batteries, he transforms into a force to be reckoned with.
This miniature robot icon is so fierce; that on May 24th 2008, he scaled up a rope of more than 1700 ft. in less than 7 hours at the Grand Canyon. Talk about power; that little Robot has lots of it!
