The Panasonic People’s Triathlon Series
The Panasonic People’s Triathlon Series is Auckland’s longest running triathlon series. Each year, four different races are held at Maraetai Beach and Mission Bay between November and April.
Participants have the chance to race a variety of distances in both triathlon and duathlon. All events have a wide range of abilities enabling participants to race as competitively or non-competitively as they like. Panasonic New Zealand is the lead sponsor for this event.
First Tier Events
Panasonic New Zealand is delighted to partner with First Tier on their wide-range of events including XTERRA Rotorua Festival Rotorua Festival, Women’s 6K, SRAM Tour de Ranges, and Botany Town Centre Summer Fun Run.
For the past 17 years, First Tier has been one of New Zealand’s leading event management companies. They organise local events that unite and connect people of all ages and abilities across New Zealand communities.
The Chiefs Super Rugby Team
This year, Panasonic New Zealand is thrilled to partner with The Chiefs Super Rugby Team. The Chiefs are one of Super Rugby’s five New Zealand teams, who are based in Hamilton.
The Chiefs are a much-loved team, who are renowned for their community-spirit and for being a family-orientated organisation – these values are of great importance to Panasonic New Zealand.
Wero Whitewater Park
Panasonic New Zealand is a proud sponsor of Manukau’s Wero Whitewater Park, an artificial river and water course for recreation, sports, emergency services training, school programmes and youth development.
Panasonic has partnered with Wero Whitewater Park on the development of their interactive state-of-the-art educational facilities. Wero Whitewater Park’s educational programme promotes water safety by teaching children and young people the confidence and survival skills to be better prepared and able to safely enjoy the water.

Kid Witness News (KWN) is a global hands-on video education program for elementary and secondary school children, supported by Panasonic.
