I wish I got the GM1 for myself
Bought the GM1 as a gift for my wife, but after watching her use it and borrowing it every now and then, I wish I bought it for myself instead.
My hands aren't small and I can hold an iPad mini in one hand with no problem, but the size of the GM1 is still perfect for me.
When comparing it with my Nikon V1, honestly it's a bit depressing. The GM1 is smaller, lighter, images are sharper, dials are at the right place, and the effects are nicer.
The V1 isn't a big or heavy camera, but still, I will think a few seconds before deciding if I want to take it out with me. With the GM1, I'm already telling her that I have it without even thinking if we'll need it or not.
Now I have a new problem, do I replace the V1 with a GM5 (because I want a viewfinder) and if so, what excuse to make.

Looking forward to the GM1
Only recently read about the GM1 and it sounds almost perfect for me. I love really small cameras since my Canon Demi half-frame days in the 1960's.
My current cameras are a Nikon V1 and a Canon S110 (this little wonder is my favourite ). I tried a Pentax Q but although it's tiny size suited me the performance didn't.
The new GM1 could be ideal and might be an opportunity for me to just needing one camera. Slight downsize is lack of a viewfinder, but then nothing is perfect.
