Panasonic Vietnam, Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment (MONRE) and UNESCO jointly hold an integrated natural and education program for over 600 people at UNESCO World Heritage Site - Trang An landscape complex on 23rd January 2015, within a series of activities to celebrate for receiving the World Cultural & Natural Heritage Certificate.
Documentary film explores how a rural pig farming village in Thailand introduced environmentally friendly farming practices brought the highest prize to Thailand team in the Panasonic Kids Witness News (KWN) Regional Asia Pacific Contest 2013.
In Hanoi, on November 2nd 2013 at Nikko Hanoi Hotel, Panasonic Vietnam organized annual Kid Witness News Award Ceremony for 6 eight grade teams from 5 schools in Hanoi. Attending the ceremony there were representatives from Hanoi Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of natural resources and environment, school administration boards and teachers.
Hanoi, 25th August 2013, Panasonic Vietnam organized the Panasonic Eco Picture Diary Contest Award Ceremony for students at Panasonic Risupia Centre with the attendance of representatives from Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Embassy of Japan in Vietnam and schools in Hanoi city. The Eco Picture Diary contest is organized annually by Panasonic to encourage students expressing their ideas and actions to protect the environment together with the community through drawing pictures.
On 21 June 2013, at two World Heritage sites, My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient Town – Quang Nam Province, Panasonic Vietnam in cooperation with UNESCO Hanoi Office organized the Eco Learning Program on UNESCO World Heritage for secondary students in Vietnam, and other many joint events such as Art contest, media training seminar for video shooting to support the world heritage administration activities.
Hanoi, 23 March 2013, at Khuong Thuong Elementary school, Hanoi, in respond to the Earth Hour 2013, Center for Environment Training and Communication (Vietnam Environment Administration) in cooperation with Panasonic Vietnam, Live and Learn for Environment and Society Center and 350 Vietnam Club (directly under the Foreign Trade University Youth Union) to organize the “Kids love the environment festival – In respond to Earth Hour 2013” and the Summarize ceremony of Adopt A Tree 2 project to promulgate and stimulate environmental protection activities for students, youth and community. Participated in the program was representatives of Vietnam Environment Administration, Panasonic Vietnam, Live and Learning for Environment and Society Center, media and over 1000 youth and elementary students in Hanoi.
