Go Higher for Bryan Lowry
My goal is to place myself directly in the face of nature, seek new discoveries and to make a record of them. I take pride in reaching lava flows that others cannot find - a world where only the volcano and I exist. With this camera, I can capture mother nature at her most vibrant moments and share them with the world. I have to carry all my gear on long hikes - the compact body of the GH5 makes this easier and allows me to get close to my subjects; its long recording time is perfect for capturing the unexpected.
He is a volcano photographer based on the Island of Hawaii. Inspired by the power of both volcanoes and photography, he annually visits over 50 active lava sites to capture unrecorded moments.
