Panasonic showcases latest innovations at Nigeria’s West Africa HVAC Expo

High-quality, reliable and energy-efficient ACs, ventilation and IAQ solutions on display

Lagos, Nigeria

Panasonic, in collaboration with its local partner Panaserv Nigeria Limited, is participating at the West Africa HVAC Expo 2018, which runs until July 12 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.  At the event, the Japanese electronics giant is showcasing its new range of industry-leading ventilation and indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions, as well as its latest air conditioning innovation with a unique three-stage air purification system.

With a fast-growing urban population and increasing infrastructure developments, Nigeria is seeing a growing demand for high-performance and energy-efficient products and solutions. Keeping these developments in mind, Panasonic offers a complete range of ventilation solutions that promote a healthy and comfortable environment in both residential and industrial spaces.

A key highlight of the ventilation and IAQ showcase is the brand’s ceiling mount ventilation fans ingeniously engineered with full metal structure.  Aptly categorized under the Fire Resistant Series, these innovative vent fans are the only one if its kind in the Nigerian market, reaffirming Panasonic’s commitment to developing solutions with best-in-class features. Moreover, the metallic structure within the air steam also provides extra protection against fire making it ultra-safe.

In addition to the Fire Resistant Series, other models featured are ceiling mount ventilation fans from the Super Quiet Series. For wall mount ventilation fans on showcase, top-of-the-line features includes those with automatic shutter and advanced blade design.  There are also wall mount vent fans specially designed for bathroom installation, as well as Kitchen series. Drawing great interest from visitors are the ceiling mount ventilation fans on display from the Metal Series.

For commercial spaces, Panasonic is offering its Industrial Ventilation Fans from the High Pressure Series, which, among other premium features, operate with high static pressure and low power consumption.  Also on display is the Low Noise Type Cabinet (in-Line) Fan, as well as air moving equipment Range Hood models.

Commenting on Panasonic’s exciting IAQ line-up for the expo, Hidenori Matsubara, General Manager, IAQ, Panasonic Eco Solutions (a division of PMMAF), said, “Excellence is precisely what we strive for in developing Panasonic’s wide array of ventilation products and we are pleased to have this opportunity to present our range of powerful and energy-efficient ventilation fans and indoor air quality solutions to the Nigerian market. Combining cutting-edge technology, intelligent features and durable design consistent with our adherence to the highest Japanese quality of craftsmanship, builders, contractors, architects and homeowners can definitely rely on us to provide the right solutions that help create healthy environments.”

Inspired by the slogan ‘Quality Air for Life’, Panasonic is furthering its commitment to offer total air solutions that not only deliver enhanced indoor air quality but improved cooling function and energy efficiency as well.  The company will also showcase its new line of ACs engineered with its patented air purification system called Nanoe-G Technology.  Nanoe-G actively removes airborne particles as small as PM2.5, thus giving up to 99% cleaner air.  The air conditioners are also equipped with the iAuto feature, which gives up to 15% faster cooling at start up through consistent airflow and automatic fan speed.

Another standout feature of the ACs are the Aerowings, which shoot cool air powerfully at long range by squeezing the cold air inside the main unit with two flaps at the top and bottom. This shower cooling effect by the Aerowings gives you more precise cooling where you want it.  Moreover, the ACs boast smart energy saving capabilities with their ECONAVI technology.  ECONAVI’s intelligent sensors detect potential waste of energy using the Human Activity Sensor and Sunlight Sensor. By automatically adjusting power according to room environment, the ACs achieve up to 35% energy savings during cooling.

Mr. Suraj Rupani, Promoter for Panaserv Nigeria Limited, the official partner and distribution channel of Panasonic in Nigeria, emphasized that the new air conditioners boast the renowned Panasonic quality of durability by incorporating functions in the appliance that match the regional characteristics of Nigeria.  “It is quite common for many communities in Nigeria to suffer from unstable electricity, and noting how hot and humid our climate is, these ACs indeed meet our needs.  The ACs come with an automatic voltage adjustment device that switches off the unit when power supply is unstable. They are also built with the Blue Fin Condenser, which, through a special coating layer, are specially protected against corrosion from air, water and other corrosive agents.  Finally, noting that environmental challenges remain a priority issue in the country, we are proud to support Panasonic in their efforts to improve people’s lives by offering products such as these ACs that improve the health and well-being of customers,” he added.

Panasonic is at Stand xx of the West Africa HVAC Expo 2018 from today until July 12 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
