
Baked Apples with Fig, Cinnamon and Ginger

Ingredients
- 4Bramley cooking apples
- 2stem ginger balls finely chopped
- 0.5 tspground cinnamon
- 4figs chopped
- 50 glight muscovado sugar
- 1 tbspbutter

- 20 cmshallow dish
Steps
1) Core the apples, and score the skin around the middle.
2) Mix together the ginger, cinnamon, figs and sugar. Fill the centre of the apples with the mixture so that they are well packed.
3) Top each apple with a knob of butter.
4) Cook on MEDIUM MICROWAVE for 5-7 mins or until the apples start to soften, the apples can over cook very easily so take care.
