
Clay Pot Fried Rice
Clay pot fried rice is easy with a Panasonic SR-CN188WST Premium 10-cup Rice Cooker. The built-in clay pot mode combines, fluffy perfectly cooked rice with a smoky, crispy base that pairs perfectly with the rich sauce and other ingredients. Created by thecordonykitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 cuplong white rice rinsed
- 2garlic cloves minced
- 3 cmginger minced
- 100 genoki mushrooms
- 150 gfirm tofu
- 1Chinese sausage omit for vegetarian
- 2 tablespoonsoyster sauce
- 1 tablespoonsesame oil
- 1 tablespoonrice wine vinegar
- 2eggs lightly whisked
- 3shallots sliced thin
- Chilli flakes to serve
Steps
1) In the Panasonic Rice and Multi Cooker add rice, garlic, ginger, enoki mushrooms, tofu, Chinese sausage, oyster sauce, sesame oil and rice wine vinegar and add 1 1/2 cups of water.
2) Set your rice and multi cooker to the clay pot setting and start.
3) When rice is finished pour in the eggs and gently stir through the rice. Close the lid and let the residual heat cook the eggs. After 5 minutes open the lid and stir through shallots.
4) Serve with chilli flakes and shallots
