
Gluten-Free Pizza Dough
Our gluten-free pizza dough will fast become a favourite in your gluten-free recipe collection. This recipe uses a combination of chickpea and teff flour to create a nutritious base with a bold, earthy taste. Simply add your own toppings and enjoy! Made using the gluten-free program on our SD-ZP2000 Bread Maker.
Ingredients
- 170 mllukewarm water
- 2.25 tspdry yeast 1 packet
- 2 tbspxylitol
- 100 gchickpea flour
- 110 gteff flour
- 30 gcorn starch
- 20 gpotato starch
- 1 tbspbaking powder
- 1 tbspdried herbs
- 1 tspsalt
- 1 tbsppsyllium husks
- 0.5 tbspxanthan gum
Steps
1) Mix the dry yeast with xylitol and 50 ml of lukewarm water.
2) Pour the dry ingredients into the bread pan one by one and mix them roughly with a spatula.
3) Add the yeast mixture and the remaining 120ml of lukewarm water and mix roughly again.
4) Close the Bread Maker and select Program 14 for gluten-free bread.
5) When the cycle is complete, remove the dough from the bowl and knead it on a floury surface to form approximately two pizza bases, depending on your desired base thickness.

6) Preheat convection oven to 200°C.
7) Roll out the dough to form two bases and transfer to tray lined with baking paper.
8) Add your preferred pizza sauce and favourite toppings.
9) Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of your base and what consistency is desired.
