This sweet and nutty hazelnut and honey loaf is a tasty treat you can bake easily in your breadmaker.

Ingredients

Servings:1
  • 175 gbutter
  • 50 gsoft dark brown sugar
  • 50 ghoney
  • 3medium eggs (beat with the milk)
  • 60 mlmilk
  • 100 gfinely chopped hazelnuts
  • 225 gself raising flour
  • 100 gchocolate & hazelnut spread
  • 50 gcream cheese

Steps

STEP 1

Cream the butter, sugar and honey together until soft and fluffy.

STEP 2

Mix in the eggs and milk a little at a time, beating well.

STEP 3

Stir in the chopped hazelnuts. Fold in the flour.

STEP 4

Remove the blade from the bread pan and line with a loaf tin liner. Carefully pour in the cake mix.

STEP 5

Enter 1 hour on the Bake Only timer and press start. Test with a skewer after baking; if the cake needs longer, cook for another 3-5 minutes. If still sticky, it will cook through on cooling. Remove and allow to cool.

STEP 6

Beat the cream cheese and hazelnut spread together and spread on top of the cooled cake.
