Roasted Onion Bread
If the desire for a rusted dinner grabs us, there is no way around this roasted onion bread.
Ingredients
- 1 tspdry yeast
- 1 tbspfresh sourdough
- 400 gwhole wheat flour
- 1 tbspcanola oil
- 2 tbspsmoked salt
- 1 pinchpepper
- 1 pinchnutmeg
- 5 tbspfried onions
- 260 mlwater
Steps
STEP 1
Open the bread maker and remove the baking pan. Insert dough hook.
STEP 2
Put the ingredients in the baking tin in the following order: dry yeast, sourdough, flour, canola oil, salt, pepper, nutmeg, fried onions and water.
STEP 3
Scrape leftovers from the edge inwards with a spatula.
STEP 4
Insert the baking pan back into the bread maker, close the lid, and select menu option 1.
STEP 5
Take the bread from the machine after the specified time. Allow to cool slightly.
