German Potato Soup
A rustic, creamy vegetable soup with potatoes, carrot and celery, gently cooked and lightly blended for a satisfying texture. Finished with lemon zest and served with German sausage.

Add olive oil, garlic, onion, carrot, celery, potatoes, stock and bay leaf to the jug of the Panasonic Quiet Cooking Blender (MX-HG4401).
Turn the knob to the Manual setting. Select No Blend, set the temperature to 100°C, and the time to 22 minutes (00:22). Press Start to begin cooking.
Once cooking is complete, remove the bay leaf. Add the double cream, butter, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and optional cumin or nutmeg.
Turn the knob to the Manual setting again. Select Low Blend, set the time to 2 minutes (00:02), and press Start to gently combine the soup into a slightly chunky texture.
Serve hot with German sausage on the side.
