The new company offices are combined with the also newly established Panasonic Innovation Center, whose central focus is on displays of solutions designed for business users. The Innovation Center introduces the company's latest technologies, vision, and history. It is divided into various different areas to promote Panasonic's wide range of B2C and B2B fields, from home solutions to avionics, automotive, and eco solutions.
The advance showings at the Panasonic Innovation Center coincide with the US Open, where the company has also set up a similar B2B display booth to highlight Panasonic's transition into a company that also provides B2B solutions.
Panasonic's newly established headquarters in North America is designed to meet LEED Platinum Certification standards for commercial interiors. Among the metrics to attain the highest level of LEED certification include energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
Sustainability is also a focus as the facility's exterior built to attain LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Buildings Council. PNA anticipates that this new LEED building will enable them to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions associated with their corporate HQ operations by 45% when compared to their 2007 emissions.
