LUMIX LUT Contest 2026
Terms and Conditions
Panasonic Corporation, acting through its Imaging Solution Business Division, (“Panasonic”), is holding the LUMIX LUT Contest 2026 (“Contest”).
Any person who wishes to enter this Contest (“Entrant”) shall agree to and comply with these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If any Entrant does not agree to these Terms, in whole or in part, they must not enter the Contest.
Panasonic reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the Contest or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
1. Eligibility of the Entrant
1. Entrants must be LUMIX users.
2. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older, or the age of majority in their country of residence.
o If under the age of majority, parental/guardian consent is required.
3. Entrants must not be employees of Panasonic or its affiliated agencies, nor their immediate family members.
2. Work Requirements
1. To enter the Contest, Entrant must:
o Create an original LUT (Look-Up Table), and
o Apply the LUT to a photo or video created by the Entrant.
2. Entrant must submit:
o A before and after comparison of the content
o The LUT file or LUT settings notes
3. All submitted work above (“Work”) must be:
o Original and created by the Entrant
o Not previously awarded in other contests
o Not currently submitted to other contests
4. If any third-party content is included in the Work, Entrant must obtain all necessary rights and permissions, including those set forth in Section 8.
3. Entry Submission
1. Entries must be submitted via Discord as follows:
· Post the entry in the #lumix-lut-contest channel
· Include:
o Before/after images or video
o LUT file or settings description
2. The Contest period is:
· Start: June 24, 2026
· End: July 8, 2026
All entries must be submitted within this period to be eligible.
4. Judging and Selection
1. After the submission period:
· Community voting will be conducted via reactions (likes) on Discord
· Panasonic and LUMIX experts will review entries
2. Winners will be selected based on:
· Creativity
· Quality and uniqueness of the LUT
· Community engagement (as a reference factor)
3. Panasonic reserves the right to determine the final winners at its sole discretion.
5. Winner Notification and Announcement
1. Winners will be contacted via Discord direct message within a reasonable period after the Contest ends.
2. If a winner does not respond within 7 days, Panasonic reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternative.
3. Winners will be announced on:
· LUMIX Official Instagram accounts
· LUMIX Discord community
6. Prize
1. The prize is:
· The winning LUT will be featured in the LUMIX Lab app, making it available to the global LUMIX community.
2. There is no cash alternative or transfer of the prize.
7. Required Assets for Selected Winners
1. Selected winners must provide the following materials:
· Creator name and LUT name
· LUT file in .cube format (33-point grid)
· Before and after sample images (JPEG)
· Sample assets:
o V-Log base: 16:9 landscape, 1280×720 or
o Photo Style base: 3:2 landscape, 1080×720
· Photo Style base information (e.g., V-Log, Standard, Natural)
Failure to provide these materials may result in disqualification.
8. Rights and Usage
1. By entering the Contest, Entrant grants Panasonic a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license, with the right to sublicense, to:
· Reproduce, edit, adapt, modify, publish, publicly transmit, distribute, display and otherwise use the submitted Work
· Use the Work for marketing, promotional, and product-related purposes
· Feature the LUT in the LUMIX Lab app
2. Winners agree:
· Not to assert moral rights against Panasonic
· That Panasonic may credit them using their creator name/handle
9. Prohibited Content
1. Entries must not contain:
· Copyright violations
· Defamatory, offensive, or unlawful content
· Violence, hate speech, or explicit content
· Misleading or harmful materials
2. Panasonic reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these Terms.
10. Liability
1. Panasonic is not responsible for:
· Submission errors or technical issues
· Lost or delayed entries
· Any damages arising from participation
11. Miscellaneous
1. Panasonic reserves the right to:
· Modify or cancel the Contest
· Disqualify any Entrant at its sole discretion
2. If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions will remain effective.
3. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
4. Any disputes arising from or in relation to this Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court in the first instance.
