At the home appliance recycling factory, Panasonic Eco Technology Center (Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture), Panasonic extracts precious resources such as high purity plastics, iron, and copper from used TVs, air conditioning units, refrigerators, and washing machines. These recycled materials are then used to create new products. Panasonic has been developing technologies to collect and recycle resources efficiently and is making efforts to reduce materials used in every step of the manufacturing process.
