Junji Sakamoto


Junji SAKAMOTO received his PhD from Kyoto University in 2002. Thereafter, he worked at Max-Planck Institute for Polymer Research (2002-2004) and then at ETH Zurich (2004-2013) where he received his Habilitation in 2012. Since then he was appointed to a Research associate professor of Osaka University (2013-2015), an Adjunct lecturer of Tokyo Institute of Technology (2013), and a Guest associate professor of Kyushu University being also a researcher of Kyushu Institute of Systems, Information Technologies and Nanotechnologies (2015-2017). He joined Panasonic Co. as a Chief researcher in 2017 and is currently leading the Global Research Team of the Pioneering Research Center.
